[Yaaarc] old-time hockey, up-to-date computing

Once again, the Detroit Red Wings go for the Stanley Cup.  (Yay!)  This 
time, they're up against the Pittsburgh Penguins.  Not one of the 
Original Six, but still north of the Mason-Dixon line.

While I was working at GM's Lordstown plant a few years back, I'd drive 
through Youngstown on my way to and from the plant.  Their mascot is our 
favorite computer system's symbol, too.

I would have to call myself a sports traditionalist.  While I'm sure the 
marketing folks researched the snot out of the San Jose Sharks and the 
Nashville Predators, California and Tennessee aren't what you call to 
mind when you think, "Ice hockey".

Just as "Grizzlies" aren't what come up when you refer to my alma mater, 
OaklandU, originally called the "Pioneers".
