Sparkfun says:
The 11" tall robot retails for $120, uses the Nordic chipset for 
wireless control, runs a PIC 18F65J10, and is completely hackable! We 
designed this board in cooperation with Active Innovations to allow 
reprogramming, bootloading, and external control of the remote (PIC 
18F2321) and robot (PIC 18F65J10).

The interface board is a big $20.
