Hey all YAAARCies (and GOTechies!)

The 2008 North American Model Engineering Expo will be held on
Sat/Sun, April 19th/20th, 2008 (Hours - Sat 9-6, Sun 9-4)
Location - Seagate Convention Center, Toledo, OH.

This is a GREAT place to:
a) see lots of finely engineered items by master machinists 
   and to chat with them (lots of scratch built steam engines, 
   stuff like working Sterling engines, 3" high working V8 gas engines, 
   DIY CNC widgetry, equisite models, etc... Bring your cameras! :-)
b) see demos of DIY & homebrew machine tools (like EDM),
c) attend tech seminars on topics like "how to make your own CNC", and
d) go shopping for machine tools, parts, accessories, etc.

(Too bad it's the same weekend as Penguincon, AND the FIRST finals! <augh!>)

Anyone else interested in attending NAMES?  Personally, I'm looking for 
either some carpool buddies to split the gas to/from Ypsi on both days,
or to join in a vanpool headed there.  If interested, please email me
