[Yaaarc] Meeting 5/23/07 - AA Observer is coming!

Hey all,

Remember, there are FIVE Wednesdays this month, so our Fourth Wednesday 
meeting is the 23rd, and NOT the last Wednesday of the month this time!
(Right?)

I reveived a call from Charmie Gholson of the AA Observer.  
(FYI, Charmie is also the host of "Renegade Solutions" on WCBN 88.3 FM.)
Charmie writes a short column for the Observer based around "surprise
drop-in visits" of the "open to all meetings" listed in the Observer's 
monthly Events Calendar.

I talked to her for a while on the phone. She told me she wishes to 
write US up for the Observer, and take a few shots THIS MONTH!  

THEREFORE:  *** She will be coming to our meeting on the 23rd, WITH an 
Observer photographer! ***  (Remember, this is a "drop in surprise"! ;-)
She'll also have her 9 year old son in tow, so we'll need some activity
to hold his interest.

Everyone: This is a GREAT opportunity to boost the club!  
SO... WE NEED BOTS THERE for picture taking!  

Can we please:
1) Set up some lego bot area for kids (perhaps 2 Lego Sumobots & ring again?);
2) Have everyone bring in their Jeepbots, and any other bots they have
   for Show and Tell, 
3) I'm trying to convince some of the local FIRST teams to bring 
   in their 2007 competition bots to the meeting. <grin>
4) Have a focus program or activity of some kind this month?

Does anyone have a program/topic suggestion?  

What can you all bring in for Show and Tell?
