[Yaaarc] Antenna confusion

I'm working on rigging a small fleet of vehicles with WiFi and GPS for Telematics at Nissan. All this cool Telematics stuff I'm doing uses Linux, Java+OSGi, CAN, ... on an Mini-ITX embedded PCs, but we'll be getting a double DIN "Car PC" with display that will fit into the vehicle dash.

The WiFi gear seems to use a wide variety of antenna connectors. The Linksys WRT54GL (TNC) and WRT54GC use different types.

There seems to be a plethora of antenna connectors out there, so can somebody enlighten me on these antenna types, when and where they are used?

	N, SMA, RPSMA, MC-Card, RP-TNC

Anybody know of a good source for antennas and adapters? I need a bunch of Type-N to SMA adapters already.

Btw, I've found a nice combined GPS/WiFi antenna at www.wi-sys.com

Thanks!
