[Yaaarc] Analog Mux recommendations

I am looking at a robot application that needs way more 0-5V
analog inputs than the MPU provides.

Anyone have experience/recommendations for an easy to use analog
mux chips (preferrably available from Digikey), that EITHER:

a) Runs from single ended +5 and will go near the rails without problems
b) Includes charge pump circuits (possibly with external caps, etc.)
c) Is cheap, easy to find, and easy to apply, but needs +/- voltages
easily generated from either +5V or +12V.

I need to mux two sets of 8 analog signals onto 8 analog input lines.
I'd prefer a pair of quad 2:1 mux chips. (IS there a "16:8" chip?
That'd be GREAT...) I guess I *could* use (4) 4066's, but I'd need
to invert the select signal for half of them, which adds parts.

I'm also trying to avoid a PCB design, as this is a "2 of" only,
and I need it quickly. I plan to solder breadboard it. The signals
are very low freq sensors with decent drive, so I'm not too worried
about noise.

Part recommendations, anyone?
