For those interested in FIRST - The Kickoff "game reveal" is TODAY,
Sat, 1/6/07, at 10 AM.  A webcast of it is available at a NASA website:

The local Kickoff event is in Novi this year.  ALL that wish to 
become FIRST mentors are welcome to attend with our team (1502)!

If you ever wished to learn more about FIRST robotics, I'd highly 
recommend coming to Novi, even if only for the afternoon Tech Sessions. 
It is FREE training in all aspects of FIRST technology (build tech, 
programming topics, etc.), all taught by very experienced FIRST mentors.

No entrance fee, but you really need to be associated with a team 
to attend.  Just come on out, seek me out there, and be my guest.  
We're wearing very dark blue T-shirts, with a "gear" logo over the 
heart that says "1502" in the middle of it.  

I hope to see some of you there. In addition to the tech sessions,
there will also be a demo field set up to view and photograph, so 
bring your digicams.  The Kickoff organizers are expecting well 
over 1000 robot enthusiasts representing dozens of teams from a 
number of states, so it'll be quite an experience!
