[Yaaarc] Need to get the rings home after the contest tomorrow.

My van is going to go to Cedar Point tomorrow while I am at the
contest.  I can use it to get the sumo rings to the contest, but not
back home.  I'll swap vehicles, and be left with the Prius.  The Prius
is distinctly cooler than the minivan, but there is no way to get a 4
foot diameter rigid object inside of it.  The hatch isn't that big.

The rings are 4 feet in diameter and 2.5 inches thick.

Can I get a ride for them tomorrow afternoon? I won't need them until
the next meeting, so you could take them to the September meeting, or
drop them off at my house.


In other news, I went shopping at Home Depot to buy the wood for the
surface of the rings.  The thin plywood was sanded very very smooth,
so I bought OSB instead.  The paint brought out the grain in the OSB,
so it is a much rougher surface than I expected.  We will have one
true plywood ring.  If either player objects to the added traction,
they can opt for the ring that was built to specifications.  If both
players don't mind, they can use any ring, and the contest will go
faster.
