[Yaaarc] Getting my geek fix for the month

I was reading an Online WSJ article about "How random is the iPod?" when
I was referred to a random number source with instructions on how to
build one for yourself. Yup, build yer very own radiation detector and
have it talk to yer machine!

The source capsule generates radiation through the beta decay of Krypton-85:

Kr-85 ==) Rb-85 + e- + gamma

(I dunno what this is (not TeX) but it shows in Firefox as Greek with
superscripts)

I'm not really sure why you'd want a random generator for a robot; my
industrial experience is that random operation is a Bad Thing. But I
thought you might like it.
