As is common at this time of the year, I'm once again searching for
holiday discount robotics mag subscriptions for club members.
Summary - Mags researched: ROBOT, Make, Servo, and Nuts&Volts.
ROBOT MAGAZINE
--------------
There IS a "club member" discount - $17.95/4issues (vs 19.95):

MAKE MAGAZINE
-------------
No deals found... <hmmm> The standard deal (US 1Year=$34.95/4issues):

New Subscriptions:

SERVO and NUTS&VOLTS MAGAZINES
------------------------------
I couldn't find any "Servo Sixpack" type deep discount group deals
for either Servo or N&V this year. <darn> (Anyone else see one yet???)
BTW, I *did* find this warning from N&V about a FAKE subscription service:
> WARNING: Do NOT accept any Nuts&Volts deals through this company:
> - Publishers Marketplace of America in White City, Oregon
> has been putting out N&V offers to old Poptronics subscribers,
> and are NOT authorized to represent Nuts&Volts.
> Do NOT give them money, nor your credit card information.
See: http://www.nutsvolts.com/Poptronics_Alert.htm
I found the Nuts & Volts "Distributorship" deal ($2.50/issue in blocks
of five). This DOES get you the mag much faster, but at the expense
of us having to collect money, AND distrubte them monthly. <ick>
Direct mail subscriptions for both N&V and Servo are cheaper deals
(under $2/issue): $24.95/1yr, $45.95/2yr, $65.95/3 year (US only)

better deal on any of these mags, please post the details under
this thread. Thanks!
