hello I'm Joshua Bauer, I'm 15 and I have been in some or Dr. George's
robotic classes. I have gone to one of the yaaarc meetings and really
enjoyed my self and want to go again.

OK now that I have introduced my self I have a question, my friend and I had
an idea. I have a Barbie car, the kind little kids get into and drive down
the side walk. my friend has a remote control car that the gears in the
motors got worn away from him making it go full speed forward and them
putting it into reverse. so I was thinking I could get the Barbie combined
with the remote control car i could get a very large remote control car.

Here are some of the specific (that I'm thinking will work correct me if I'm
wrong)

1. getting the remote controlled car to control the Barbie car

I have used Dr. George's motor controller that he made at yaaarc in one of
his classes, and I was thinking I could use that to power the Barbie car.
using the remote controlled cars power that is going to the motors to go to
the "motor controller" instead.

2. getting the Barbie car to turn,

I bought a drill for a few bucks at a yard sale it is 9.6 volts and is
enough to turn the barbie cars wheels. i just need to figure out how to hook
it up to go both directions.

I was wondering if yaaarc had enough to supplies to build a motor controller
next meeting

I was wondering if i could get some feed back on my idea

if any one has any questions or if any thing needs clarification please,
just email me at ...

thanks,

Josh
