I'm definitely planning to attend the Robofest. However, since I live in Howell, I will just meet you (whoever else is going) there. I'll bring my FlutterBot and Laptop just in case other FlutterBot enthusiasts show up with theirs and we want to compare what we are working on. Also, I don't know to what extent anyone on this list is involved in the Robofest, but I would be happy to help out as well.

The World Robofest 2006 Championship will be held on Saturday,
May 13, 2006, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Don Ridler Field House, campus
of Lawrence Technological University, Southfield, Michigan.
Robofest is Lawrence Tech's annual autonomous robotics competition
for students grades 5 - 12.
The Robofest competition challenges team of students to design,
build, and program robots to compete in playful missions and
exhibitions. Young people have fun while learning computer
programming, engineering, math, and science.
The World Robofest 2006 Championships is the finale of the Robofest
2006. Top teams form 18 qualifying Robofest competition sites will
compete at the World Robofest Championships. The Championships will
feature 65 teams, and over 400 participants from across the states
including Michigan, Ohio, Florida, Texas, California, Washington,
Tennessee and International teams form Canada, Korea and Mexico.
Admission is free, spectators and press are welcome.
Lawrence Technological University (www.LTU.edu) is located at
21000 West Ten Mile Road, Southfield, Michigan 48075. The LTU
Don Ridler Field House is located on the North side of campus,
South of Civic Center Drive, West of the M-10 Lodge.
