Anthony,

Thanks for the offer.  I'll install it on my laptop and bring a mouse.  After playing around with it for a couple more hours I did start to grasp some of it.  I was just hoping that it would be easier to use then it is.  I'm sure that it's just a learning curve thing.  I use Visio for creating network and cabling diagrams but found TurboCAD to be nothing like Visio.

  I could try out the TurboCAD. I have done some work using an older version of TurboCAD.
  If the newer TurboCAD is there for me to try it out, maybe I could help you out. 
  If your TurboCAD in your laptop, please make sure there is an external mouse for me to use because it is too difficult to use those finger or internal mouse to do CAD work. 
  Since I work for Yazaki, I use CAD software all the time. 
  I will be coming from out of town, and I will be late, but no later than 8 pm.

  Yes, the meeting is this Wednesday, 4th weds of the month, 7pm at Corsa as always. 
  I don't know of any special events planned. 
  Learning about simple cheap CAD as it relates to robots is surely on topic. As is helping each other with projects, demonstrating the latest creations, and so on.
